Tucson New Mexican Food - Poco & Mom's

Independent tips for the professional at Leisure

February 2009

In addition to great golf, Tucson offers up some great Mexican and New Mexico style food.

Tucson New Mexican Food

The greatest surprise in Tucson was Poco & Mom's, a New Mexico style restaurant with enchiladas just like my Irish Mom used to make.

We found Poco & Moms to be a great, authentic source of New Mexican food in Tucson.  The restaurant is in what appears to be an old liquor store with bars on the windows for a real NM ambiance.

Inside, the staff is very attentive and friendly, and the food is out of this world.

Poco & Moms has an extensive menu of authentic New Mexico foods, including enchiladas, chile Rellenos and carne asada.
