St Vincent
Mopion is a tiny little island of
sand. It's a blip in the middle of the ocean, and can only be reached by
a raft. It's so small you can leisurely walk the entire perimeter in
just 3 or 4 minutes.
Soufriere on St Vincent is a dangerous
volcano, a strato-volcano with a crater lake inside. A violent eruption
occurred in 1718, 1812, and 1902. The 1902 eruption killed 1,600 people
and there were also eruptions in 1971-1972 and 1979.
