The green flash at sunset

The Green Flash
The green flash is a rare condition where the optics of the
upper atmosphere refracts the sunlight into a bright green hue. The green flash
is seen at sunset, just as the orb of the sun descends below the horizon.

Simulation of the Green Flash
The green flash is very rare, and the atmospheric conditions
must be just right. It only lasts a few seconds, but it is a real Caribbean
treat. The green flash is the adult equivalent of a Snipe hunt, and it offers a
great excuse to observe the stunning sunsets of the Caribbean.

and Caicos Islands Insider Adventures" by Rampant TechPress.
